Comprised of Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame-inducted musicians, the band brings a storied pedigree and a rare versatility that keeps audiences singing along. Live shows are crafted for maximum impact, with professional production capable of reaching audiences up to 5,000. Our visual package features a compact but striking 10-watt argon/krypton laser system that adds a dazzling, modern glow to each performance without overpowering the music.

Band Members
Dillon Dixon (Lead Vocals)
Dillon Dixon is a singer/songwriter who writes songs of both celebrated and troubled love affairs, persistence in the face of life’s hardships and successes, all with an undying dare to dream. Dillon has traveled wide, listened hard and written from his heart. Throughout his work, Dillon’s earnest passion and commitment to music has been evident in every word and chord.
With a B.A. from Berklee School of Music, Dillon came to Nashville in 1995 and has since written for EMI Music, Warner/Chappell Music, Amylase Entertainment and Kid South Publishing (Teddy Gentry from the critically acclaimed band, Alabama) . He has had songs recorded by George Jones, Restless Heart, Natalie Cole, Don Felder, Ronnie Milsap, Neil McCoy, Steve Holy, Alabama, Josh Gracin and Rodney Atkins among countless others.
Across the Atlantic Ocean, in Innsbruck, Austria, Dillon found his place in a four-member group called “High South.” Reminiscent of the Eagles with their rich harmonies, they made their mark throughout central Europe making top-10 charts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
From the experience with the band, Dillon landed a publishing deal with Schedler Music out of Lechtal, Austria. Based out of Berlin AND Nashville, Dillon wrote internationally for many artists/DJ’s such as – FTampa (Brazil), DJ Bobo (Switzerland), Andrea Berg (Germany), X-Stylez and Two-M (Switzerland), Storm3 (Netherlands), D’ Hundskrippin (Austria), Jon Sine (Germany), Luca Little (Phillipines/Germany), Quarterhead (Germany), Patrick Johnsson (Switzerland) and Nick Vega (Switzerland) to name a few, including various Korean, Russian and Japanese artists. He has also had his voice on many songs he has written such as “Sunshine” with DiMaro (Top 10/Belgium), “Say So” with Charming Horses (Austria), “Glowing” with FTampa (#1 Dance/Brazil) and “Caffeine” with X-Stylez & Two-M (#1 Dance/Switzerland). He also had songs chosen for the finals of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, 2018 and 2022 representing Denmark, Lithuania and Switzerland. His other current acheivments include 5 songs on the #1 selling artist in Germany, Andrea Berg’s album “Mosaik,” and 3 songs on Switzerland’s #1 selling artist of all time , DJ Bobo, including the title track of his CD (2019) “Colors of the World.”
Along with his artistic ambitions, Dillon’s music and voice have also been featured in films including Warner Bros. “Terminator 3,” 20 th Century Fox’s “Live Free or Die Hard,” New Line Cinema’s ”Blade 2, Dreamwork’s “Red Eye,” Lions Gate’s “3:10 To Yuma,” DC Comic’s “Hellboy,” New Films International’s “The Florentine,” Dimention Films’ “The Crow 3,” Lions Gate’s “Color Me You” and a number of songs for director Wes Craven for his films such as “Scream (Dimension Films),” “ Dracula 2000 (Miramax Films),” Cursed (Miramax Films),” “Amusement (New Line Cinema)” and “Mimic (Miramax Films).
He currently works and writes in the Sync music industry for TV and film and travels quite extensively playing house parties and a veriety of venues performing and telling his songwriting stories along with many acoustic guitar/vocal sets in the Country, “Yacht Rock” and Classic Rock genres.
The list of life is a long one for Dillon. Not of what he has done, but for what’s to come.

Amy Simpson (Vocalist)
Amy Simpson is a highly experienced and versatile music professional with a passion for diverse musical styles. A veteran of 37 years performing, her background spans soul and R&B, jazz, rock, hip-hop, Top 40/covers, and reggae, reflecting a wide and adaptable vocal palette.
She has performed in a range of settings, from intimate clubs to upscale hotels and casinos, and has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Charmaine Neville, Tower of Power, and Average White Band, in addition to touring as an opener for Dancehall sensation Sean Paul.
In 2024, Simpson was inducted into the Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame with Blitz Dynette, and she was named Best Female Vocalist in Central Pennsylvania in 2025.
She currently leads vocals for Groove Rebels, Blitz Dynette, and The Very Few, while also freelancing with other prominent groups. For nearly two years, she has contributed as a columnist to Harrisburg Magazine, writing a monthly feature on the local music scene, and is currently one of the nominees for Simply the Best for Harrisburg Magazine’s Local Music/Soloist category for 2026.
Mike Boarman (Bass Guitar, Vocals)
Mike is a self-taught musician who started at 11, playing for his first audience. By 15, he joined gospel group The Gabriel’s and spent formative years performing with The Couriers, The Cathedrals, and The Jacobs Brothers.
Mentored by The Gabriel’s, he learned life lessons and the music business’s rigors. At 17, he recorded his first album with The Gabriel’s, I Go To The Rock . A year later, he honed his craft in studios—Baldwin, Susquehanna, and others—while continuing to perform live, even sitting in for a Roger Cooper show (PTL Club regular) whose album he had contributed to.
His career surged after electrifying a 28,000-strong crowd at Agape Farms. In 1990, he won a local bass competition that brought him to Rich Clare, joining Pentagon as they wound down their national tour; he auditioned and became Pentagon’s bassist in 1991, a role he held for 33 years until their 2024 retirement.
Mike and Pentagon were inducted into the Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame in 2021.
Beyond Pentagon, he contributed to Savage Bliss and, in 2008–2009, played bass and backup vocals on Hybrid Ice’s album (recorded at After 7 Studios). In 2025, he joined Joe Mohn, Amy Simpson, Mark Showers, and Craig Kelly to form The Very Few, entertaining Central Pennsylvania venues.
Mark Showers (Keyboards)
After high school, Mark Showers headed to Shenandoah Conservatory in the fall of 1979, where the allure of the electronic music lab and the iconic ARP 2600 quickly captured his imagination.
What started as curiosity blossomed into a lifelong passion as he soon acquired an ElectroComp 101 and built a growing synth collection, sharpening his skills with every new sound he explored. Weeks turned into sessions with Doug Phillips, and those collaborations paved the way for a pivotal chapter as a keyboard player for the Sharks from 1984 through 1990, with later reunions that underscored the enduring energy of that era.
Mark and the group “The Sharks” were inducted into the Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame in 2020.
Since then, Mark’s musical journey has continued to evolve, reflecting a restless curiosity and a love of live performance. In recent years, Mark has kept his hands and ears busy with Mid Life Crisis, Bad Sister, and Appalachia, among other projects, all while pursuing a range of hobbies that feed his curiosity and keep him actively connected to the local scene.
A lifelong student of sound and a dedicated navigator of the keyboard, Mark remains committed to exploring new textures, collaborating with fellow musicians, and sharing the joy of music with audiences near and far. He now plays keyboards for The Very Few.
Craig Kelley (Guitar, Vocals)
Craig is a seasoned guitarist and performer whose lifelong passion for music has carried him from disciplined study of classical and jazz guitar in college to exhilarating international tours and intimate stages alike.
He has shared the spotlight with legendary Grammy-winning and nominated acclaimed artists such as Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Rick Derringer, Gary Hoey, and Joan Jett, delivering performances that fuse technical precision with raw, magnetic energy.
As a three-time, reigning Central PA Guitar Wars Champion, Craig has earned recognition in Guitar World Magazine, steered his band to multiple Battle of the Bands titles, and rattled off more than 500 shows across his expansive career.
Craig has played with local group Mid Life Crisis alongside Mark Showers and now plays lead guitar and sings with The Very Few.
Joe Mohn (Drums, Vocals)
Joe began playing drums at five and went on to a storied career in both live performance and recording.
In high school, his band captured back-to-back Class B championships in 1972–1973, signaling the arrival of a seasoned performer in the making. A student of jazz drumming legend Joe Morello, Joe built a foundation in jazz technique and expressive groove.
He has toured with Circus America and marched with The West Shoreman Drum & Bugle Corps, experiences that shaped his versatility across genres.
In 1994, he was the engineer on the jazz collaboration CD The Breeze and I, featuring Joe Diorio and Ira Sullivan. The project highlighted his ear for detail and passion for high-fidelity recording.
Joe’s contributions to the Central Pennsylvania music scene culminated in his induction into The Central Pennsylvania Music Hall of Fame in 2021 as part of the music group Pentagon.He expanded his live performance footprint by joining the Soulville All-Stars for their 2025 CPMHoF induction ceremony alongside Mike Boarman on bass. Over the years, he has sat in with renowned artists including Vince Gill, Patty Loveless, Little River Band, and Kenny Chesney.
Currently, Joe performs with The Very Few, featuring all Hall of Famers, continuing a tradition of excellence and veteran artistry.
